I really like this "new" Canon FD 20mm 2.8 on my NEX. It's very sharp for being such a wide lens (my 28mm 2.8 isn't anywhere near as sharp and really soft at the edges). While it's not flattering to use on people since it makes their nose big and people at the edges look fatter....it's adorable on pets!
